Yoga that meets you where you are.

Yoga doesn’t have to mean getting down on the floor, twisting yourself into shapes, or keeping up with anyone else.

Chair yoga is yoga adapted to the human body you have today.

I teach gentle, practical classes for seniors that combine movement, breathing, balance, strength, and relaxation — all from the support and stability of a chair.

There’s no competition, no performance, and no need to prove anything. We listen to the body, work with it rather than against it, and build strength and mobility in a way that feels good and sustainable.

I also offer private yoga sessions for people who would prefer individual attention or a practice tailored to their needs.

And if you’d rather practice from the comfort of your own home, you can take my online chair yoga course and follow along whenever it suits you.

About me

I’ve been practicing and studying yoga for more than twenty years.

I took my first yoga teacher training in 2007 and continued studying with many different teachers over the years, completing my most recent teacher training in 2021.

For me, yoga has never been about perfect poses or making the body look a certain way. It’s been a way of learning to pay attention — to the body, the breath, and what is actually happening in the moment.

That’s the approach I bring to my teaching.

When I teach seniors, I focus especially on maintaining mobility and keeping the body moving well. In every class, we move through the major joints of the body — gently working the shoulders, elbows, wrists, spine, hips, knees, and ankles.

A chair can be a wonderful tool for movement, balance, strength, breathing, and relaxation.

There is no one right way to practice yoga. There is finding a way to keep moving, keep exploring, and stay connected to your body as you are today.

What clients say

  • It is simple, but it's super effective!
  • It works! I can reach things from the top shelf with ease, I can open jars again.
  • I noticed that I can lower my blood pressure without taking a pill. I just do the breathing that we practice in class.
