Recently I had a conversation with someone whom I have met about two years ago. She reflected to me that she didn't know much about me. I tend to be quiet in groups. And that made me think about my own community. How much do you know about me?
So, I decided to write about myself today and give you a chance to get to know me better. And I hope you will write back to me with your stories because I really would like to get to know you better too.
So, here are some random things about me that you may or may not know.
My professional pitch: My name is Nataliya and I am an Authenticity Coach and a Chair Yoga Teacher. My clients tap into their power to achieve their wildest dreams. Breaking the patterns and helping people stretch beyond their comfort zone is my expertise. Empowerment and inspiration is my zone of genius. Depth and precision is my secret sauce.
From a daily life perspective, I am just an average woman, I have a daughter and a husband, we celebrate all the regular North American holidays and also some holidays from my home land. We also have a dog and a cat. I like houseplants and I have a little plot in a community garden where I spend much of my summer.
At the moment I feel a little nervous because my brain is offering a thought that you might be bored to tears reading this. So, let's make it a little more interesting, shall we?
I do not belong to any religious groups and I am not religious at all. But IF I absolutely HAD TO pick a religion, it would be Buddhism because it is very practical, logical and lots of its teachings make a lot of sense to me. However, I believe that I am a spiritual being having human experience. I believe in higher consciousness and that the whole Universe is alive and conscious, that there's more to reality than meets the eye, that life exists on the other planets. Moreover, I believe that there is intelligent life on the other planets. I often listen to channeled messages and my favourite streaming platform is Gaia.
My Instagram feed is full of australian shepherds and interesting places to travel. Facebook doesn't make me feel good, to the point that I am considering deleting the account altogether. Majority of my social media time is spent on youtube and substack.
Recently I discovered Low Demand parenting and I am practicing it with my autistic daughter. Traditional parenting does not work for us at all. In our world, high demands, strict rules and parental authoritarianism creates disconnection and suffering for everyone involved, so I opt out.
Learning more about autistic brains makes me suspect that I might be on a spectrum too.
My favourite question is Why?
I don't own a TV and I very rarely watch the news (though the big ones still make it my way). I believe that the news is designed to make people feel scared, angry and helpless and I prefer to exist in different states. For more explanation of why I don't watch the news see the reel I recorded some time ago.
Last year I discovered Human Design and I have been learning about myself through that lense. For those familiar with HD, I am a Mental Projector. This modality has given me much needed perspective and validation of my life experience. I like to write with real pen and paper instead of typing on the computer.
I believe that life is meant to be a fun adventure. Our Souls come here to grow and evolve. There are many ways to grow, some grow through suffering, I choose a fun adventure.
I believe that at the core of human beings is loving kindness and trauma can distort that into fear, scarcity and therefore violence. Therefore, I focus on choosing love over fear.
I believe we are all equal. Very different and unique, and at the same time equal.
I believe in the universal Law of Oneness. The sooner we truly understand and accept this law on an individual level, the sooner we can build new systems and structures that will support all human and non-human beings on this planet.
My core values are freedom, fun, purpose, adventure, joy, connection, quality, peace, equality. I want to live in a world that is peaceful, joyful and fun for everybody.
OK, perhaps it is enough for now. If you are still reading this, thank you for witnessing me.
Now it is your turn. What would you like to share about yourself? What would you like me and/ or the world to know about you?
With love,
Nataliya
